[ENVIRONMENT ART] IMBER - Atmospheric puzzle game

Project role overview: UI artist, concept artist, material artist, level setdressing, 3D environment artist, character artist...

For the past 4 months, me and my close friend worked on a small atmospheric puzzle game. I was the solo artist, so I created all the assets on my own, with exceptions of animations, VFX, and landscape generation. This post doesn't include all of the work, but it gives some overview of what went into the project. For me, this was an amazing experience, seeing as I've been mostly working as a concept and UI/UX artist during my education. I feel I am much closer to my goal of becoming a generalist.
This project was our graduation work, as 4th year students at Breda University of Applied Sciences. I am looking forward to sharing the game itself very soon, but for now please enjoy the art.
Thank you to all of the peers and supervisors who helped with the project.
Very special thanks to Vassil Mihaylov and Olivier Dral, for your work on splash art and tech art, respectively, as well as your constant advice and help. This project would be much less appealing and much less fun without you ♥
And last but absolutely not least, thank you so much to my project partner and best friend, Jeroen V (runefish). You are the reason I will never give up on making art :)

Itch post (still being updated!) : https://runefish.itch.io/imber
I will share final version when it is ready :)
